Dr. Constantinos Panayi was born in 1976 in Athens,Greece. He returned to Limassol, where he grew up and graduated from the Lanitio Lyceum in 1994. After his military service he returned to Athens where he studied at the Medical School of the Kapodistrian University of Athens and graduated in 2002.
He specialized in Orthopedic and Traumatology at the Athens Navy Hospital and at the KAT Hospital, the largest center of orthopedic surgery in Greece, where he received his specialty title in 2009. He then went to the Southampton University Hospital where he dealt with new shoulder and knee surgery techniques.
Since 2011 he is in Cyprus where he works as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon in Limassol. He maintains a private clinic and performs his surgeries in "YGEIA" Polyclinic, the largest private hospital in Cyprus where he is also a member of the Board of Directors.
He is a member of the Cyprus Medical Association, the Medical Association of Limassol, the Cyprus Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology and the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom. He holds an Advance Trauma Life Support Diploma (ATLS).
Clinical Experience
Being part of the orthopedics on call rota for “YGEIA” since Jan 2011, he treats orthopedic trauma, sports injuries and other orthopedic emergencies.
He is mostly interested in Hip and Knee arthroplasty (primary and revision), knee arthroscopy - ACL reconstruction, sport injuries, and fixation of upper and lower limb fractures using the latest minimal invasive techniques and technologies.
